Agnetha Faltskog
Even though she's created an impact as an individual artist from Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be best known as the 'ABBA' member as one of the biggest popular and commercially profitable pop bands of all time. After leaving school at 15 Agnetha started singing in the band of Bernt Enghardt that quickly gained popularity. Enghardt secured her a contract with a record deal and soon made it to the top of the charts in Sweden when she released her first single. After getting engaged, she wed Bjorn Ulvaeus. They began to join the group 'ABBA'. Through the rest of the eight years, the group would be one of the best-performing popular acts around the globe that won many platinum and gold awards throughout the world. After ABBA the group released three albums called "Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman', in addition to I Stand Alone'. Each of them was hugely successful in Sweden. The band also enjoyed a huge popularity in Europe. However, they didn't make an impact in America. ABBA appeared on a jukebox show called "Mamma Mia!. It was also a hit in the U.K., 'My Coloring Book" hit number 11. She has received a positive response to her latest Album 'A.'
